Our Process

Determining Your Budget

The first step in building your new home is to establish your construction budget. Understanding your financial capacity will guide your decisions and help us determine the best package to suit your needs. We can recommend local loan officers to assist you with construction loans or alternative financing options for your new build.

Meet with us!

Fill out our online form or give us a call to provide information about your project. We’ll then schedule a phone call or meeting to discuss your vision and review our available options.

Securing Land

We occasionally have available inventory that we can discuss during our initial meeting. Alternatively, we can recommend realtors to help you secure land in your desired area. If you already own a lot, John can conduct a site evaluation to review potential house placement, options, and any challenges the lot may present.

Build Package &
Additional Options

Once you have secured land, we will work with you to finalize your build package selection as well as any desired upgrades from our additional options list.

Deposit & Contract

Once you finalize your build package, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your place as we finalize the construction contracts. Any additional costs due to site conditions will be discussed and, if possible, incorporated into the contracts at this stage. You will also begin processing all necessary documents for your loan with the bank during this time.

Team Meeting & Selections

Once contracts are signed, our team will reach out to schedule an in-person meeting at our showroom. During this meeting, you’ll have the chance to meet the key members who will be working with you throughout the construction of your home. You’ll also make selections for your new home during this meeting or schedule a follow up meeting within two weeks of signing your contract.

Online Portal Activation

Once you have made all your selections, our team will set up and customize your online portal access where you can access your contract documents, approved selections and view progress photos.

Construction

Throughout construction, project managers will provide updates and progress photos. As large milestones are met, our team will be able to provide expectations and timelines. You will also meet with your dedicated project manager during two key phases of construction.

Completion & Move In

Once your home is complete, we will schedule an on-site meeting with your Project Manager and key members of our team. During this meeting, we will provide you with essential information about your new home or any questions you may have. Bank closings will occur before this walkthrough.

Custom Homes

Please note, our process for custom homes is slightly different. We are happy to discuss that process with you during our initial phone call or meeting.
